Carl Downey Bio:
Carl is a award-winning Artist, residing in Healdsburg. Originally from Los Angeles, he visited the Northbay area and fell in love with the endless beauty of Sonoma County. He is an active member of the Artist Roundtable in Santa Rosa, Ca. Deeply spiritual, he is drawn to the drama of light and shadow he sees playing on the landscape, especially in early morning and late afternoon. He hikes with camera and gear to catch unique and unusual scenes all over Sonoma, the California Coast, Vineyards, and mountains. As a self-taught artist, Carl brings passion and humility to his work and joyfully hones his craft with every painting. He specializes in an artful blending of realistic and impressionistic styles.
